Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Bizav is BACK with a vengeance!

Despite all the negative headwinds from the Russia/Ukraine war, stealth COVID variants, record inflation, skyrocketing fuel prices, and supply chain backlogs, bizav traffic is nearing (and in some cases exceeding) all-time highs at many locations.

Strap in for a BUSY Summer!

All the industry oracles are forecasting that this upward trend will continue in full force, as the peak travel season on the Med is already off to an earlier-than-expected start, and upcoming travel bookings are gaining more and more steam.

This is great and exciting news for the industry, and understandably, it’s mixed with anticipation and feelings of pressure and resource bandwidth  – as we all ramp up for a potentially record-breaking peak travel season, the likes of which we’ve never seen before.

Before I share a few of the ways we’ve prepared to help you meet these challenges and operate successfully this summer, I want to pause and thank all of you for the AMAZING recognition you’ve given to our Universal Trip Support teams and Universal Aviation FBO teams around the world!

  • #1 Intl’ Trip Planning Provider – Pro Pilot readers voted Universal #1 Intl’ Trip Planning provider in the magazine’s annual PRASE Survey for the third year in a row!
  • Top Ranked Intl’ FBOs – Several of our Universal Aviation locations were also just voted among best FBOs in the world by AIN readers. Universal Aviation London-Stansted is thrilled to be ranked the No. 2 Intl’ FBO once again. They’re joined by several of our other teams around the world, making the top 25 Int’l FBOs, including Universal Aviation Paris, Universal Aviation Singapore, and Universal Aviation Beijing.

Thank you for your votes and for choosing us to support your critical missions! Your trust, confidence, and loyalty mean the world to us, and we’re honored that you’re willing to take time out of your VERY BUSY schedule to show that support publicly through these industry surveys.

I also want to thank our amazing, hard-working, and dedicated Universal team members around the globe who continue to give their all to ensure your missions are a success.

These teams put their heart and soul into making your missions and overall Universal experience a success, and your vote validates their hard work!

At Universal, we’re building the future of Mission Management Services and ready to support you!

I’ve always been bullish on our industry, even in the darkest days of the pandemic. Back then, we huddled together as an organization on how we would handle it. We decided that rather than “slow down,” we would “double-down” full steam ahead!

We’ve spent the past two pandemic years investing heavily in technology enhancements, innovative solutions, and expanding our Universal FBO Ground Services Network to meet the challenges of operating in a post-COVID environment.

This includes enhancing how we organize and share operational pre-trip data now available to you via Feasibility-IQ, enhancements to uvGO, and customized intelligence via our “Trip Status” and “Mission Briefs,” which enable you to have online access to service status and confirmations, and more focused situational awareness to make better decisions.

We’re also leveraging our unmatched global regulatory expertise with new services like eu-LISA consultation, expanding our global network in the locations you need us, including several new locations, like Paros, Greece, ahead of the busy summer Med peak season with more coming soon.

And we’re not slowing down. We’ve got a lot of exciting news coming over the last half of 2022.

None of this would be possible without your support. I want to personally thank you for sticking with us and continuing to choose us during these challenging times!

What are your summer travel plans?

We’re anticipating a record-breaking summer travel season based on trip inquiries and bookings, so DO PLAN AHEAD! I’d love to hear about your plans, any challenges you anticipate, and what we can do to help.

I’m hoping to get to see many of you in person again soon.  Until then, safe travels, and thank you again for your business and your trust and confidence in Universal and our Teams in Houston and around the World!

We are creating “The Universal Experience“ for You!

Warmest regards,

Greg
