Longer stays generally require repositioning.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3268\" data-end=\"3435\">A dedicated Business Aviation Gate with its own CIQ channel opened in 2021, improving passenger processing efficiency. Others plan arrivals or departures at Narita outside permitted operating hours.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"5575\" data-end=\"5931\">\u201cSome operators who are not familiar with Tokyo restrictions plan parking of more than five days at Haneda and operations during the curfew at Narita,\u201d says Higashi. \u201cAt Narita, adjusting the schedule is usually straightforward. At Haneda, however, operators often must choose between shortening their stay or repositioning to another airport for parking.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"5933\" data-end=\"6071\">Because parking positions at Haneda are limited and in constant demand, delays in decision-making can quickly eliminate available options.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"6073\" data-end=\"6217\">\u201cWhile operators are evaluating alternatives, Haneda parking and slots may disappear,\u201d Higashi explains. \u201cAvailability can change very quickly.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"6219\" data-end=\"6305\">Slot timing flexibility also requires rapid coordination once allocations are offered.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"6307\" data-end=\"6641\">\u201cWhen schedule changes occur after slot confirmation, we inform operators of the available times and ask them to confirm their preference,\u201d Higashi says. \u201cIf the response is slow, other operators \u2014 including scheduled airlines \u2014 may take that slot.
