    Lunch-and-Learn:
    2018 World Cup, Russia

    For flight departments planning on operating in Russia during the 2018 World Cup (June 14 – July 15), Universal is hosting lunch-and-learn sessions to share the latest operational updates on what can be expected and to answer your questions.

    Universal Aviation Russia country manager, Dmitri Konovalov, is presenting, along with members of our Houston-based trip support teams.

    Session 1: Tuesday, October 10, 1-2PM – Lunch Provided FULL
    Session 2: Wednesday, October 11, 12-1PM – Lunch Provided FULL
    Session 3: Wednesday, October 11, 1:30-2:30PM – Coffee & Snacks Provided

    China Ops Updates - Meet with our China country manager

    The business aviation environment in China continues to evolve, and there continues to be ambiguity around regulations already in place. Universal has been working aggressively with CAAC to ease restrictions for business aviation and to get better clarity on existing regulations.

    Universal Aviation China country manager, Cynthia Zhang, will be available to discuss these changes and how they impact operations into China, including updates on China’s ETE variance rule.

    UVair Fuel Program

    Fuel representatives will be available address fuel-related questions and share program updates—including updates in our 2018 VAT exemption program, and upcoming plans for FET and GST/HST exemption.

    Shannon Airport Update

    For operators who have the option of using Shannon Airport as a tech stop, Joe Buckley, Shannon Airport Authority, will be available to discuss recent changes—including runway improvements, resumption of 24/7 operations, U.S. CBP Preclearance updates, and comparisons of fuel savings at Shannon versus other stops in Europe.

    To promote the resumption of 24hr operations beginning October 1, the airport is offering a 50% discount on all aeronautical charges through December 31.
