As you can see from this Wall Street Journal article, our efforts are moving the needle. Keep up the good work, and keep getting the […]
Please read and action ASAP! There are reports that as soon as early February, the House Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I) Committee will be considering a proposal to strip the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of its management of the U.S. Air Traffic Control System, transferring its operation to a private entity funded by user fees.

Thank you for joining me in standing up for business aviation by pushing the button and contacting Congress urging it to end the 17-day government shutdown. While we certainly welcome the agreement reached last week, we still face challenges, and as NBAA President and CEO, Ed Bolen, said, “We will need to remain vigilant.”
While the U.S. government shutdown continues, the rest of us in business aviation are still busy at work, helping our country and industry thrive. Although many of us were not able to join NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen at the rally on Capitol Hill last week to encourage policymakers to reopen the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), so that vital aviation services can resume, we can have our own rally online.
The shutdown of the United States government, which began Oct. 1, unfortunately is having the unintended consequence of negatively impacting the industry we love, and one which supports our livelihoods. As an industry, it is absolutely vital for business aviation to band together to let our elected leaders in Washington D.C. understand how each day of the shutdown hurts our industry and could lead to eliminated jobs, closed companies, and a negative impact on our economy.
