Suppose you have an operation into the Netherlands Schiphol TMA (EHAM). This airport requires RNAV1 approval. Do you need RNAV1 approval if you are already P-RNAV approved?

THE AIRPORT DOES MAINTAIN SECURITY 24 HRS A DAY.SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY IS AVAILABLE FOR THE AIRCRAFT AND PASSENGERS, IF DESIRED. SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY IS NEVER ARMED.

THE CREW MUST HAVE A SECURITY AND/OR COMPANY I.D. AIRCRAFT DOCUMENTS ARE NOT USUALLY REVIEWED, BUT SHOULD BE AVAILABLE, IF REQUIRED.

SECURITY PROCEDURES ARE IN PLACE FOR BOTH PASSENGERS AND CREW, AS WELL AS FOR BAGGAGE.

GA OPERATING OUTSIDE OF THE TIME BRACKETS AS PUBLISHED IN THE LATEST NOTAM NEED TO APPLY FOR SLOTS. BASED ON THE SLOT POOL, TIME BRACKETS AVAILABLE FOR GA ARE CALCULATED ON AN AVERAGE DAY BASIS AND WILL BE PUBLISHED BY NTM.REQUEST SLOTS AND AWAIT APPROVAL BEFORE OPS. SUBMIT REQUESTS 3 DAYS OR LESS BEFORE OPS. AIRCRAFT ARE EXPECTED TO ARR/DEP WITHIN -15/+15 W/ASSIGNED RESERVATION TIME.

FROM 15 NOV 2012 A RNAV1 OPERATIONS APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR ALL IFR FLIGHTS INBOUND AND OUTBOUND EHAM. THIS APPLIES TO FLIGHTS HOLDING AN AIR OPERATOR’S CERTIFICATE (AOC) OPERATING UNDER ICAO ANNEX 6 PART I (INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL AIR TRANSPORT AEROPLANES), AS WELL AS FLIGHTS WITHOUT AN AOC OPERATING UNDER ICAO ANNEX 6 PART I (INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL AIR TRANSPORT) OR INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS OPERATING UNDER ICAO ANNEX 6 PART II (INTERNATIONAL GENERAL AVIATION – AEROPLANES)

THE LOCAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY FORBIDES AIRCRAFT HANDLERS FROM HANDLING AIRCRAFT AFTER 22:55 LOCAL ‘ON BLOCK TIME’. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT AIRCRAFT LAND NO LATER THEN 22:30 LOCAL TO ALLOW ENOUGH TIME FOR THE AIRCRAFT TO TAXI TO THE APPROPRIATE FBO HANDLING THE AIRCRAFT IN ORDER TO MEET DESIGNATED TIME REQUIREMENT.
