FOR DEPARTING INT’L GENERAL AVIATION FLIGHTS, THE EARLIEST DEPARTURE TIME IS 2200 UTC/0700 LT DUE TO AIRPORT FACILITIES & CUSTOMS OPEN AT 0600 LT AND CUSTOMS CLEARANCE WILL NOT TAKE PLACE UNTIL AFTER THAT TIME.

NO CARS HAVE ACCESS TO THE RAMP EXCEPT ON GOVERNMENTAL/PRESIDENTIAL FLIGHTS. CARS HAVE TO GO THROUGH SECURITY CHECKPOINT CONTROLLED THROUGH AIRPORT AUTHORITY. ALL STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR DESIGNATED BADGE ISSUED BY THE AIRPORT CONTROLLER.

FOR DEPARTURE, ALL ACFT INCLUDING BUSINESS JETS MUST BE PUSHED BACK. THIS IS DUE TO INCREASED NUMBER OF PARKING SPOTS WHICH MADE EACH PARKING SPOT SPACE SMALLER. HANDLER WILL ARRANGE TOWBAR (EXCEPT VERY RARE ACFT) & TOW TRUCK. SOMETIMES A BIGGER SPOT IS AVAILABLE FOR BUSINESS JETS(EXCEPT BBJ) CAN TAXI OUT OF BY THEMSELVES.

THE TOTAL NUMBER OF SLOTS AVAILABLE PER DAY (615) IS SHARED WITH SCHEDULED AIRLINES. THERE ARE 3 SLOTS PER DAY FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF GENERAL AVIATION. GENERAL AVIATION WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO USE ANY UNUSED SLOTS LEFT BY SCHEDULED AIRLINES.

THE C.A.B. (CIVIL AVIATION BUREAU) HAS THE AUTHORITY TO ASSIGN AVAILABLE SLOTS AND WILL ALLOCATE SLOT TIME AS CLOSE TO REQUESTED TIME AS POSSIBLE. IN EVENT REQUESTED SLOT TIME IS UNAVAILABLE BY ONE HOUR BEFORE OR AFTER, THE OPERATOR IS REQUESTED TO RESCHEDULE FLIGHT TO MEET SLOT TIME CONFIRMED.

ALL FOREIGN NATIONALS ENTERING JAPAN, 16 AND OLDER,(EXCEPT SPECIAL PERM RESIDENTS, DIPLOMATS & PERSONS ONBOARD TECHNICAL FLIGHTS) WILL BE SUBJECT TO FINGERPRINTING, A SHORT INTERVIEW, AND A DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPH BY IMMIGRATIONS. THIS PROCEDURE INCLUDES CREW.

TRASH MUST BE DOUBLE BAGGED AND BAGS MUST NOT BE LARGER THAN 12 INCHES IN DIAMETER

CUSTOMS REQUIRES THE HANDLING AGENT TO SEND THEM THE LANDING RIGHTS FORM FOR AIRCRAFT ARRIVING INTERNATIONALLY. THEY ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT/DENY ANY AIRCRAFT WISHING TO OPERATE TO THIS AIRPORT.
