Many locations require a prior permission required (PPR) for differing reasons. For example, some locations may require it as fuel may not be available at all times for GA due to shortages, the airport may have limited aircraft parking space available, or ATC may have limited staffing which requires reducing the traffic handled at any given time.

PEAK HOURS 0800-2200 LOCAL

THE AIRPORT DOES MAINTAIN SECURITY 24 HRS A DAY. AIRFIELD SECURITY SERVICES ARE STRICTLY CONTROLLED BY THE AIRPORT AUTHORITY. NO OTHER COMPANIES OR ORGANIZATIONS OUTSIDE OF THE AIRPORT AUTHORITY ARE PERMITTED TO PROVIDE AIRSIDE OR AIRCRAFT SECURITY.

DUE TO SAFETY REGULATIONS FOR DUBAI INTL AIRPORT, NOSE OUT PARKING OF AIRCRAFT WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED EXCEPT IN UNAVOIDABLE CASES. EXEMPTION WILL BE GIVEN IN SPECIAL CASES BY DCA OPERATIONS WITH SPECIFIC CONCURRENCE FROM ATC.

SLOTS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE OPS. SLOT REQUESTS MUST BE MANUALLY SENT TO THE OMDB SLOT COORDINATOR IN SCR FORMAT. BE ADVISED THAT APT PEAK HOURS OF OPERATION ARE FROM 0800 LCL – 2200 LCL. SLOTS CAN BE DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN DURING THESE TIMES. SLOTS VALID +/- 15 MINS.

EDDF INFORMATION

AIRPORT OPERATING HOURS:

0500-2259 LOCAL STAGE 4 OPS

0600-2159 LOCAL STAGE 3 OPS

STAGE 2 OPERATIONS ARE BANNED FROM THIS AIRPORT.

NO GENERAL AVIATION (GA) OPERATIONS ARE PERMITTED BETWEEN 2300-0500 LOCAL.

AIPORT SLOTS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL OPERATIONS TO THIS AIRPORT. ALL REQUESTS MUST BE IN GCR FORMAT AND CAN BE ARRANGED UP TO 6 WEEKS IN ADVANCE FOR GA OPS. ALL FLIGHT PLAN THAT ARE FILED FOR SLOT COORDINATED GERMAN AIRPORTS MUST INDICATE THE 10 DIGIT APT SLOT-ID NUMBER IN REMARKS SECTION 18 OF THE FLIGHT PLAN. ALL SLOT CONFIRMATIONS ARE GIVEN IN ZULU/UTC TIME AND THE DEVIATION IS +10/-5 MINUTES.

GERMAN AUTHORITIES CHARGE ALL DEPARTING PASSENGERS A SECURITY TAX FOR SECURITY SCREENING PROCEDURES. THIS CHARGE APPLIES TO ALL GA OPERATIONS DEPARTING FRANKFURT.

EGGW INFORMATION

AIRPORT OPERATING HOURS: 24 HOURS (STAGE 3 AIRCRAFT)

THE AIRPORT MAINTAINS SECURITY 24 HRS A DAY.

ACCESS TO RAMP IS CONTROLLED. CAR ACCESS TO RAMP IS AVAILABLE BY ARRANGEMENT. EACH CAR IS ESCORTED BY ONE OF HANDLER’S VEHICLES. ALL HANDLING AND AIRPORT PERSONNEL ARE REQUIRED TO DISPLAY AIRPORT ID PASSES. ALL VISITORS / DRIVERS MUST HAVE PICTURE ID TO BE GRANTED AIRSIDE ACCESS

SLOTS FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC OPERATIONS WILL BE IN EFFECT DAILY BETWEEN 0001/2359. AIRCRAFT ARE EXPECTED TO ARRIVE WITHIN +30 / -15 MINS OF THE ASSIGNED RESERVATION TIME.

REMOTE CLEARANCE IS AVAILABLE AT THIS ARPT. REMOTE CLEARANCE ALLOWS FBOS TO SUBMIT AIRCRAFT & PASSENGER INFORMATION ON BEHALF OF CLIENT OPERATORS TO THE UKBA PRIOR TO ARRIVAL & THEREFORE ELIMINATING THE NEED TO CLEAR CUSTOMS & IMMIGRATION UPON ARRIVAL. REMOTE CLEARANCE, WHILE AVAILABLE IS NOT HOWEVER AUTOMATICALLY AVAILABLE FOR ALL OPERATORS. WHEN REMOTE CLEARANCE IS REQUESTED THE UKBA WILL VERIFY SUBMITTED INFORMATION, CONDUCT A FULL-RISK ASSESSMENT, & ADVISE THE FBO OF THE CLEARANCE METHODOLOGY TO BE USED FOR THE PARTICULAR AIRCRAFT/PASSENGERS. THERE ARE 3 LEVELS OF RISK: LOW, MEDIUM & HIGH. LOW IS THE ONLY RISK LEVEL ASSIGNMENT THAT QUALIFIES THE AIRCRAFT/PASSENGERS FOR REMOTE CLEARANCE. THIS IS DONE SO BY FILLING OUT THE FORM AND MUST BE FULLY COMPLETED AND RETURNED NO LATER THAN 5 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL OR IT SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY IMMIGRATION IN WHICH CASE THE PASSENGERS PASSPORT WILL HAVE TO BE TAKEN TO IMMIGRATION.

THERE ARE STRICT NOISE RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE AT THIS AIRPORT. OPERATORS WHO VIOLATE THESE RESTRICTIONS WILL BE SUBJECT TO HEAVY FINES. FLIGHTS INTENDING ON OPERATING LATE NIGHT OR EARLY MORNING ARE THOSE PRIMARILY AFFECTED.

VHHH INFORMATION

OPERATING HOURS: 24 HOURS

SLOTS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL ARR/DEP OPS. THE LANDING PERMIT WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL BOTH SLOTS ARE CONFIRMED. “TBA” IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE TIME FOR ARR/DEP. LANDING PERMIT WILL NOT BE GRANTED! EXCEPTIONS EMERGENCY LANDINGS, STATE, MILITARY, HUMANITARIAN, AND TECHNICAL FLIGHTS. TEST, TRAINING AND DEMONSTRATION FLIGHTS ARE LOW PRIORITY FOR SLOT ALLOCATION. SLOT REQUEST MUST REFLECT THE 5-MINUTE INTERVAL RULE. PLEASE ROUND ETA/ETD UP OR DOWN TO NEAREST 5 MIN.

OPERATORS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO NOTIFY HKSCO FOR ON-THE-DAY EQUIPMENT CHANGES, ROUTE CHANGES, AND/OR OPS VARIATIONS TO ALLOCATED SLOTS.

ONLY SIGNIFICANT OPS VARRIATIONS WHICH AFFECT THE FOLLOWING DAY(S) WILL REQUIRE THE SUBMISSION OF SCR FOR THE RELEVANT PERIOD.

OPERATORS SHOULD STICK AS CLOSE TO APPROVED SLOT TIME AS POSSIBLE. HOWEVER, SLOTS ARE GENERALLY VALID FOR +/-15 MIN.

A SLOT CONFIRMATION NUMBER WILL NOT BE ISSUED.

HONG KONG REVERTED BACK TO CHINESE CONTROL ON 01 JUL 97, IS CONSIDERED A SPECIAL ADMINISTRATION REGION (CONTROLLED BY CHINA, BUT NOT PART OF CHINA) AND WILL OPERATE UNDER HONG KONG AUTHORITIES, NOT CHINESE AUTHORITIES. OPERATIONS TO HONG KONG FROM OTHER REGIONS OVERFLYING CHINA STILL REQUIRE A CHINESE OVERFLIGHT PERMIT, WHICH MUST BE OBTAINED SEPARATELY. ANY LANDING IN VHHH WILL REQUIRE A PERMIT FROM CAA HONG KONG.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT GENERAL AVIATION AND BUSINESS AVIATION AIRCRAFT ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR A PARKING STAND FROM THE AAHK AT LEAST 72 HOURS PRIOR TO OPERATING TO THIS AIRPROT.

THE FOLLOWING FLIGHTS ARE EXEMPT FROM PPR: EMERGENCY, STATE AIRCRAFT, MILITARY FLIGHTS, HUMANITARIAN, AND TECHNICAL FLIGHTS.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT PARKING IS LIMITED AT THIS AIRPORT. IT IS ADVISED TO REQUEST PARKING PPR WELL IN ADVANCE OF OPERATION. ANY CHANGES TO SCHEDULED DATE WILL RESULT IN THE CANCELLATION OF APPROVED PPR, AND MUST BE REAPPLIED FOR. PPR WILL REMAIN VALID DUE TO ANY CHANGES TO SCHEDULED TIME WITHIN THE SCHEDULED DATE. NO NEED FOR RESUBMISSION.
