ETA LHASA/ZULS 17 SEP/1440 UTC
ETD LHASA/ZULS 19 SEP/0800 UTC
ETA BEIJING/ZBAA 19 SEP/1130 UTC
ETD BEIJING /ZBAA 20 SEP/1300 UTC
ETA ANCHORAGE/PANC 20 SEP/2045 UTC

All is in order, but one thing needs to be addressed.

CHINA COUNTRY INFORMATION

FLIGHTS WITH ORIGIN OR DESTINATION OF TAIWAN ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LAND OR OVERFLY CHINA. THIS INCLUDES ARRIVING AND DEPARTING FROM CHINA AND OVERFLYING TAIWAN ENROUTE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY.

WHETHER YOU ARE TRAVELING TO OR LIVING IN CHINA, YOU MUST REGISTER WITH THE POLICE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOUR ARRIVAL IN TNE COUNTRY. FOREIGNERS WITH RESIDENCE PERMITS ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AFTER EACH
RE-ENTRY. IF YOU ARE STAYING AT A HOTEL, THE STAFF WILL AUTOMATICALLY REGISTER YOU. IF STAYING WITH FRIENDS, TAKE YOUR PASSPORT TO THE LOCAL POLICE STATION TO REGISTER.

CHINA HAS IMPLEMENTED RVSM IN THE BEIJING, GUANGZHOU, KUNMING, LANZHOU, SHANGHAI, SHENYANG, URUMQI, WUHAN FIRS AND AR01 (AIRSPACE OVER THE ISLAND) OF THE SANYA FIR. THE OCEANIC AIRSPACE OF THE SANYA FIR (AR02
AND AR03) ALSO IMPLEMENTED RVSM ALONG WITH THE SOUTH CHINA SEA REGION.

CHINA ATC GIVES ALTITUDES IN METERS. IF YOU ARE ACCUSTOMED TO FLIGHT LEVELS GIVEN IN FEET, ASK YOUR TEAM FOR A CONVERSION CHART. WAYPOINT ‘MORIT’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

NAVIGATORS ARE REQUIRED FOR OPERATIONS TO DOMESTIC AIRPORTS IN CHINA. THE NAVIGATOR WILL HAVE ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION ON AIRPORT SPECIFICS SUCH AS RUNWAY LENGTH AND ELEVATION, ETC.
THE NAVIGATOR IS USUALLY A CAPTAIN WITH CHINA AIRLINES WHO HAS OPERATED TO THE AIRPORT(S) IN QUESTION. THE NAVIGATOR WILL MEET THE CREW ABOUT 2 HOURS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE AT THE ENTRY AIRPORT IN CHINA.
NAVIGATOR IS ARRANGED BY CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY AND COORDINATED BY THE HANDLING AGENT. NAVIGATOR FEES CAN BE ARRANGED ON CREDIT THROUGH HANDLER.

ALL CREW ARRIVING GA MUST USE “C” VISA INTO CHINA. CREW ARRIVING COMMERCIAL & DEPARTING GA NEED C AND L OR F VISAS. CANNOT BE ARRANGED UPON ARRIVAL. CREW OF CORPORATE JETS & ACFT OTHER THAN REGULARLY SCHEDULED COMMERCIAL ACFT MAY APPLY DIRECTLY TO A PRC EMBASSY OR CONSULATE FOR VISAS.
