In last Friday’s AVsavvy question, we showed you a flight schedule and some airport information and asked you to find the error.

Below is the answer and explanation. Thank you to everyone who participated. We are happy to report a majority of you got it right. J

Answer 1. Military permit for VTBD isn’t possible as it’s within the lead time
Incorrect. VTBD requires a landing permit with a lead time of 7 working days and not a military permit.

Answer 2. There are no issues with this flight
Incorrect. 30 business days is required to process the military landing permit for VIAG.

Answer 3. Military permit for VIAG isn’t possible as it’s within the lead time
Correct. 30 business days is required to process the military landing permit for VIAG.

Answer 4. Aircraft can’t depart OMDB at the proposed time due to curfew issues at the airport
Incorrect. There aren’t any airport curfews for OMDB.
