In last Friday’s AVsavvy question, we showed you a flight schedule and some airport information and asked you to find the error.

Below is the answer and explanation. Thank you to everyone who participated. We are happy to report a majority of you got it right. J

Answer 1. Aircraft can’t leave KEWR at proposed departure time due to closures
Incorrect. There are no closures at KEWR.

Answer 2. Aircraft can’t land at EDDF at proposed arrival time due to closures
Correct. EDDF has GA night closures between 2300-0500 local.

Answer 3. There are no issues with this flight
Incorrect. EDDF has GA night closures between 2300-0500 local.

Answer 4. Aircraft doesn’t have a landing permit for Germany
Incorrect. A private non-revenue flight doesn’t need a landing permit for Germany.
