ETD ZURICH / LSZH 26 APR / 0900 UTC = 26 APR / 1100 LOCAL – Slot confirmed
ETA MOSCOW / UUEE 26 APR / 1200 UTC = 26 APR / 1600 LOCAL – Slot confirmed

Five hours prior to departure the passengers advise that they would like to change the departure time out of OMDB to 1745 local.

AIRPORT SECURITY:
THE AIRPORT DOES MAINTAIN SECURITY 24 HRS A DAY. AIRFIELD SECURITY SERVICES ARE STRICTLY CONTROLLED BY THE AIRPORT AUTHORITY. NO OTHER COMPANIES OR ORGANIZATIONS OUTSIDE OF THE AIRPORT AUTHORITY ARE PERMITTED TO PROVIDE AIRSIDE OR AIRCRAFT SECURITY.

CREW WISHING TO ACCESS ACFT AT OMDB THAT IS NOT ON THEIR DAY OF DEPARTURE, MUST CALL THE HANDLER AT LEAST 3 HOURS PRIOR TO THEIR ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT SO THE AIRPORT CAN ARRANGE AN AIRPORT ACCESS PASS FOR THE CREW. THIS DOES NOT APPLY ON THE DAY OF DEPARTURE. BE ADVISED IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE ACCESS PASSES WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED ON THE DAY THEY ARE REQUESTED.

SLOTS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE OPS. SLOT REQUESTS MUST BE MANUALLY SENT TO THE OMDB SLOT COORDINATOR IN SCR FORMAT. SLOTS VALID +/- 15 MINS.

WHEN SETTING UP GROUND HANDLING, IT IS NECESSARY TO SEND FULL CREW AND PASSENGER INFORMATION IN ADVANCE. UPON AIRCRAFTS ARRIVAL:
– PASSPORTS OF PASSENGERS WILL BE COLLECTED FOR CUSTOMS/IMMIGRATION
– CREW WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW THEIR CREW IDS. CREW MUST HAVE A VALID ID WITH EXPIRATION DATE. THIS INFORMATION IS MANDATORY. HANDLING AGENT WILL THEN CREATE A GENERAL DECLARATION BASED ON THIS INFORMATION.

0600-2200 LOCAL FOR PRIVATE OPERATIONS
0600-2330 LOCAL FOR COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS

STAGE 2 AIRCRAFT BANNED

PASSENGERS WISHING TO OBTAIN TAX FREE REFUNDS FOR EEC GOODS MUST OBTAIN THAT WHEN LEAVING THE EEC; THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE IN SWITZERLAND DUE NOT A MEMBER OF THE EEC.

SWITZERLAND BECAME A SCHENGEN STATE IN 2008 AND SINCE MARCH 2009 THE AIRPORT IS ALSO SCHENGEN. FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT APPLIES BUT ALL PERSONS MUST CARRY AN ID CARD WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES AND BOARDER POLICE WILL CONTROL PAX/CREW ARRIVING/DEPARTING TO NON-SCHENGEN COUNTRIES.

VEHICLE ACCESS TO THE RAMP/ACFT PARKING AREAS IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR AIRPORT VEHICLES.

PASSENGERS AND CREW SCREENING:
– THE CREW MUST HAVE A SECURITY AND/OR COMPANY/CREW I.D.
– AIRCRAFT DOCUMENTS ARE NOT USUALLY REVIEWED, BUT SHOULD BE AVAILABLE, IF REQUESTED.
– BAGGAGE WILL BE SCREENED BY CTX MACHINE AT THE DEPARTURE TERMINALS FOR ALL PASSENGERS, CREW AND STAFF.

AIRCRAFT PARKING:
– THE PARKING AREA IS SURROUNDED BY FENCE AND GATES WHICH ARE MANNED.
– REMOTE PARKING FOR OVERNIGHT IS WELL AWAY FROM THE PASSENGER DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP POINTS.

3RD PARTY VENDOR SERVICES:
– THE AIRPORT SUBJECTS 3RD PARTY VENDORS (SUCH AS CATERERS AND CABIN CLEANERS, ETC.) TO ACCESS SCREENINGPROCEDURES. BADGE IS REQUIRED BY ALL VENDORS ALLOWED ON RAMP.

SLOTS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL AIRCRAFT ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURES. AIRCRAFT MUST BE ON THE GROUND BY 2200 LT OR WILL HAVE TO GO TO THEIR ALTERNATE AIRPORT. EARLIEST SLOT AVAILABLE IS AT 0625 AND LAST SLOT AVAILABLE IS AT 2145.
SLOTS VALID FOR +/-15 MINS FROM CONFIRMED TIME. THE FLIGHT PLAN MUST BE FILED USING THE ALLOCATED SLOT TIME AS CONFIRMED.
