In last Friday’s AVsavvy question, we showed you a flight schedule and some airport information and asked you to find the error.

Below is the answer and explanation. Thank you to everyone who participated. We are happy to report a majority of you got it right. J

Answer 1. A military permit is needed for ZBAA and the lead time is 20 days
Incorrect. ZBAA doesn’t require a military permit, but rather a landing permit and airport slots.

Answer 2. Nepal doesn’t require a landing permit; just a PPR
Incorrect. All operations to Nepal require a landing permit.

Answer 3. A military permit is needed for VIAG and the lead time is 30 business days
Correct. A military permit is required for all operations to VIAG and the lead time is 30 business days.

Answer 4. Nha Trang only requires airport slots for travel to this airport
Incorrect. Nha Trang is a military airport and is closed to civil traffic.
