In last Friday’s AVsavvy question, we showed you a flight schedule and some airport information and asked you to find the error.

Answer 1. Yes, an arrival slot is required
Correct. Airport slots are required for all arrivals and departures between 0600 and 2300 local. A 2201 local arrival into YSSY would require an airport slot.

Incorrect. Airport slots are required for all arrivals and departures between 0600 and 2300 local. A 2201 local arrival into YSSY would require an airport slot.

Answer 3. Airport slots aren’t needed for this airport
Incorrect. Airport slots are required for all arrivals and departures between 0600 and 2300 local.

Answer 4. Airport slots are only needed for arrivals after 2300 local
Incorrect. Airport slots are required for all arrivals and departures between 0600 and 2300 local.
