In last Friday’s AVsavvy question, we showed you a flight schedule and some airport information and asked you to find the error.

Answer 1. A permit request for both countries is to be sent to Sudan who will issue an overflight permit for both Sudan and South Sudan
Correct. For flights overflying both countries, a request should be sent to Sudan who will issue a permit for both countries.

Answer 2. No overflight permits are needed
Incorrect. A overflight permit is needed for both countries.

Answer 3. A permit request must be sent to Sudan and to South Sudan
Incorrect. The overflight request is to be sent to Sudan who will issue a permit for both countries.

Answer 4. Only a permit for South Sudan is needed
Incorrect. A overflight permit is needed for both countries.
