Here’s another chance to test your “AVsavvy”.

Suppose you are planning a trip from Bogota, Colombia (SKBO) to San Diego, California (KSDM), but you need to make a fuel stop somewhere in Mexico.

The following is information that will assist in determining the possible fuel stop options:

Mexico Country Information:
– GA AIRCRAFT ARE BANNED FROM USING MEXICO CITY/MMMX AIRPORT.
– ANY AIRCRAFT OWNED BY MILITARY OF ANY GOVT (WHETHER ON MILITARY FLT OR NOT)
MUST GET SPECIAL PERMISSION FM MEXICAN AIR FORCE TO OPERATE IN OR OVER MEXICO.
– NO CABOTAGE ALLOWED – PRIVATE AND CHARTER AIRCRAFT MUST HAVE THE SAME PASSENGERS
ONBOARD ALL LEGS IN MEXICO THAT ORIGINALLY ARRIVE IN MEXICO.(THE AIRCRAFT MAY
DEPART MEXICO WITH FEWER PASSENGERS THAN ARRIVED IN MEXICO AS LONG AS THEY ARE
THE SAME PASSENGERS).
– ANY AIRCRAFT (INCLUDING MEXICAN REGISTERED) ARRIVING MEXICO FROM SOUTH AMERICA,
CENTRAL AMERICA, AND/OR THE CARIBBEAN (TO INCLUDE BAHAMAS AND NOW BERMUDA) MUST
STOP AT THE FOLLOWING DESIGNATED PORTS
OF ENTRY TO CLEAR CUSTOMS – TAPACHULA/MMTP OR COZUMEL/MMCZ.
THE ONLY EXCEPTION ARE VIP DIPLOMATIC FLIGHTS WITH PRIOR PERMISSION.
A/C ORIGINATING FROM THE U.S. MAY ARRIVE AT ANY INTL AIRPORT IN MEXICO.
<< OVERFLIGHT PERMIT REQUIREMENTS >>
– PRIVATE – NOT REQUIRED EXCEPT FOR GOV’T OR MILITARY AIRCRAFT.
NOTE: ANY ACFT WITH DELINQUENT NAV FEES WILL BE DENIED OVERFLIGHT.
– CHARTER – NOT REQUIRED EXCEPT FOR GOV’T OR MILITARY AIRCRAFT.

Based on the above information, which option below is correct? Answer below and come back next Friday to see if you got the answer right!
