Here’s another chance to test your “AVsavvy”.

Imagine you have a trip coming up for China. Here’s your schedule and general flight info:

DURING PEAK HOURS 0800-2200 LOCAL (0001-1400UTC TIME) ONLY ONE ARRIVAL OR DEPARTURE SLOT WILL BE ISSUED PER ACFT PER DAY. AIRCRAFT CANNOT ARRIVE AND DEPART DURING PEAK HOURS ON THE SAME DAY.

ZSPD information:
AIRPORT OPERATES 0001-2359 LOCAL // AIRPORT OF ENTRY
CAAC IS IMPLEMENTING STRICT FLOW CONTROL FOR ZSPD. ONLY 10 MOVEMENTS FOR BUSINESS/PRIVATE AIRCRAFT ARE ALLOWED BETWEEN 0800-2200 LOCAL.

DURING PEAK HOURS 0800-2200 LOCAL (0001-1400UTC TIME) ONLY ONE ARRIVAL OR DEPARTURE SLOT WILL BE ISSUED PER ACFT PER DAY. AIRCRAFT CANNOT ARRIVE AND DEPART DURING PEAK HOURS ON THE SAME DAY.

AIRCRAFT WHOSE REGISTRY NUMBER CLASSIFICATION IS BELOW C3 (INCLUSIVE) CANNOT OPERATE FOREIGN BUSINESS FLIGHTS AT THIS AIRPORT.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR CHINA:
NAVIGATORS ARE REQUIRED FOR OPERATIONS TO DOMESTIC AIRPORTS IN CHINA. THE NAVIGATOR WILL HAVE ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION ON AIRPORT
SPECIFICS SUCH AS RUNWAY LENGTH AND ELEVATION, ETC. THE NAVIGATOR IS USUALLY A CAPTAIN WITH CHINA AIRLINES WHO HAS OPERATED TO THE AIRPORT(S) IN QUESTION. THE NAVIGATOR WILL MEET THE CREW ABOUT 2 HOURS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE AT THE ENTRY AIRPORT IN CHINA. NAVIGATOR IS ARRANGED BY CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY AND COORDINATED BY THE HANDLING AGENT. NAVIGATOR FEES CAN BE ARRANGED ON CREDIT THROUGH GROUND HANDLER.

CHINA HAS IMPLEMENTED RVSM IN THE BEIJING, GUANGZHOU, KUNMING, LANZHOU, SHANGHAI, SHENYANG, URUMQI, WUHAN FIRS AND AR01 AIRSPACE OVER THE ISLAND) OF THE SANYA FIR. THE OCEANIC AIRSPACE OF THE SANYA FIR (AR02 AND AR03) ALSO IMPLEMENTED RVSM ALONG WITH THE SOUTH CHINA SEA REGION. CHINA ATC GIVES ALTITUDES IN METERS.
