Press Release: Honeywell teams with Universal to help operators maximize efficiencies and complete more missions

Agreement provides GDC clients 24/7 trip support

NBAA, LAS VEGAS (Oct. 8, 2011) – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) is expanding its service offering for its Global Data Center (GDC) operators, with international trip support services through an exclusive agreement with Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. (Universal®).

Today's flight departments are challenged by constantly evolving regulations and a need to maximize their resources and efficiencies so they can complete more missions and do more business. With the new agreement, Honeywell will provide expanded, 24/7 services to GDC operators to support all of their global needs – from permits to ground services coordination, contract fuel, and other aviation services such as hotel bookings and security.

"Universal brings 52 years of experience in trip support and the proven performance of more than 2.5 million trip legs facilitated to our GDC operators," said Carl Esposito, vice president, marketing and product management, Honeywell Aerospace. "By teaming with Universal, we will provide operators with exceptional trip support, allowing them to navigate the most challenging situations and maximize the value of their business aircraft."

Combined with Honeywell's Flight Sentinel/Flight Following service, which mitigates air-traffic delays by utilizing Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) tools and real-time flight following, Universal's global presence and trip support services will provide added value to GDC customers flying international missions.

"The combination of services will provide a simple, all-inclusive solution for operators," said Pete Lewis, Senior Vice President, Trip Support Services. "With GDC, we can ensure that every aspect of an operator's trip is covered from the initial flight planning to the final flight-following message that the aircraft has arrived at its destination."

Honeywell customers will be able to enjoy the combined GDC flight-planning and flight-following services coupled with Universal's international trip-support service effective October 8, 2011 by simply contacting the Honeywell GDC at (425) 885-8100 or U.S.A. toll-free at (888) 634-3330.
