Press Release: UVair European Fuelling Services to Offer VAT Compliant Invoicing for 9 Additional Countries

Houston (Dec. 7, 2010) – Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. announced that beginning Jan. 1, 2011, the number of countries available for value added tax (VAT) compliant and exempt fuel invoicing through UVair® European Fuelling Services Limited will be doubled to 18.

Launched in May 2010, UVair® European Fuelling Services Limited allows operators receiving uplifts via UVair® European Fuelling Services Limited in specific countries to participate in a fuel VAT-compliant invoicing program. The nine new countries added to the service are: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, and Sweden. Existing countries are: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

"UVair® European Fuelling Services Limited has received great feedback from our clients since being rolled out last spring," said Steve Woods, UVair® General Manager, Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia-Pacific. "We're excited to double the number of countries we can now provide VAT exempt fueling in and we've made the process easier as well. Outside of standard supplier preorder requirements in the 18 countries where the service is offered, qualifying operators with a Declaration Form on file will no longer need to preorder to qualify for VAT exempt fuel."

Exclusive UK Exemption
UVair® European Fuelling Services Limited is also now able to exclusively offer an enhanced exemption advantage to Part 91 business operators uplifting within the UK. Part 91 business operators may qualify themselves for VAT-exempt fuel invoicing in the UK through a straightforward, post-uplift e-mail acknowledgement process.
