Just before a client's flight arrived in North Africa, we received an emergency alert about a bomb blast in the city. Immediately, everyone on the pilot's Universal team kicked into high gear to talk him through the situation he was flying into. The airport was fine, but between there and his passenger's ground destination, there were major roadblocks. We worked with our security provider on the ground to find a safe alternate route, contacted the driver scheduled to meet the aircraft, helped him navigate the streets in real time, and kept the pilot and passengers informed throughout – so they saw no delays, and had no trouble meeting their obligations.
